Effective? Driver has unusual way of protecting Mercedes at Jurong west carpark
Tired of hit-and-run accidents?
So is this driver, it seems.
Stomper Zhang was amused to see a Mercedes with cardboard taped to all four of its doors at the Block 651 Jurong West Street 61 multi-storey carpark on Jan 7.
He said: "At first, I wondered why someone had pasted cardboard on their car. Then it hit me it's a brand new car! The driver was probably trying to protect it and avoid anyone scratching or bumping the doors.
"Innovative hor? Lol. Honestly, I didn't think anyone would do this but I guess it's a DIY way to protect against careless drivers!"
Zhang also shared photos of the unusual sight and joked: "When you value your car more than your pride!"
