Driver who beat red light -- are you in such a rush that it is ok to endanger pedestrians' lives?

Facebook user Chuan Sim posted a video of an Audi driver beating the red light at the junction of Lorong 2 Toa Payoh and Toa Payoh Central on Sunday (Dec 4).
The video shows the driver blatantly ignoring the red light and making the turn into Lorong 2 Toa Payoh.
Almost immediately, the green man flashes and pedestrians cross the road.
We urge all drivers to stick to the traffic rules for the safety of all road users.
