Driver taken to hospital after his car collides with amphibious tour vehicle outside Marina Square

A 47-year-old man was taken to hospital after the car he was driving was involved in an accident with an amphibious vehicle outside Marina Square on Wednesday afternoon (July 26).

Stomper Tom alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos of a car that had hit the side of a City Tours Captain Explorer DUKW vehicle.

An ambulance was also at the scene.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident along 6 Raffles Boulevard at 2.36pm.

"A 47-year-old male car driver was conveyed conscious to the hospital," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
