A cement mixer and two tipper trucks were involved in an accident along Aviation Park Road towards Tanah Merah Coast Road on May 15.

Stomper Kin, who passed by the scene at 7.20am, shared that police were already on site.

According to the police, they were alerted to the accident at about 6.20am.

In videos shared by the Stomper, debris can be seen scattered on the road from the collision.

In response to Stomp queries, the police and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to the collision at 6.20am.

A 49-year-old male cement mixer driver was conscious when taken to Changi General Hospital.

A police spokesperson said the man is also assisting with ongoing investigations.

Kin, who is a cyclist, expressed frustration about the long-standing hazards in the area.

"Someone paid the price today," he said.

"Many drivers stop along there to wash their trucks, pee (the area is very smelly) and buy food or drinks.

"They do this on the side of the bicycle lane before exiting to TMCR.

"The condition of the bike lane there is really poor.

"A lot of cyclists whom I personally know have crashed due to debris in that area. So many collarbones have been broken."
