Driver loses control of car that mounts kerb, knocks over road sign and bollard in Balestier
A car mounted a kerb and crashed into a road sign and bollard along Balestier Road on Monday evening (June 26).
Stomper Lau alerted Stomp to a video of the incident that was posted on SG Road Vigilante's Facebook page.
In the video, the driver of a white Honda Vezel appears to have lost control of the vehicle that knocks down a road sign and bollard before going back onto the road.
A witness said: "Wondering how's the poor bollard now.
"I'm sure people at the bus stop were as shock[ed] as me."
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted at 8.38pm to an accident involving a car which was believed to have self-skidded at the junction of Balestier Road and Jalan Ampas.
No injuries were reported and police investigations are ongoing.
