Driver arrested for drink driving after BlueSG car skids and crashes into Punggol road divider
A 27-year-old man was arrested for suspected drink driving after the BlueSG car he was driving skidded and crashed into a central divider railing along Punggol Road on Sunday night (May 28).
Stomper Lim alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos of the car being hooked onto a tow truck at the junction near Rivervale Plaza.
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 10.22pm.
"The police were alerted to an accident involving a car, which was believed to have self-skidded, along Punggol Road at the junction of Compassvale Drive," a police spokesman said.
"A 27-year-old male car driver was subsequently arrested for suspected drink driving."
Police investigations are ongoing.
