Driver, 50, arrested for drink-driving after car turns turtle at Pioneer Road junction
A 50-year-old driver was arrested for drink-driving after his car turned turtle at Pioneer Road junction on Saturday night (Dec 14).
A Stomper contributed photos of the accident's aftermath as he passed by the area.
Photos show that the car has turned turtle and is noticeably wrecked.
The car's boot is open and a traffic light post in the middle of the road is seen to have collapsed.
Responding to a Stomp query, the police said: "At 11.10pm on Dec 14, the police were alerted to an accident involving a car at the junction of Pioneer Road and Upper Jurong Road.
"The 50-year-old driver was arrested for drink-driving.
"No injuries were reported.
"Police investigations are ongoing."
