Dog rides motorcycle on girl's lap with family of 3 near Kent Ridge Park: What rules are they breaking?
While brisk walking with a group near Kent Ridge Park on April 20 at 10.15am, a Stomper spotted an amusing sight.
A family of three and their dog, all riding one motorcycle with their dog in the front.
The dog was sitting on the girl's lap, its head out in front as the father steered.
It was even holding onto the handlebars! How obedient.
"I was surprised. How does Singapore allow this to happen?" wondered the Stomper.
While there is no specific law prohibiting pets on motorcycles per se, how many road traffic rules were being broken?
"More concerning is their safety," said the Stomper.
To be safer, perhaps the dog should be wearing a helmet.
