Diner pays $17.70 for nasi padang in VivoCity foodcourt: 'Where got hot dog $4.50, man?'
A diner wants to "cancel" a nasi padang stall in VivoCity mall for charging $4.50 each for hot dog and ikan bilis.
Stomper Miller shared photos of the food and the receipt he got at the Kopitiam foodcourt on Sept 6.
The receipt shows that the diner was charged $4.50 each for three meat items, $1.50 each for two vegetable items and $1.20 for the rice. The total came to $17.70.
"I know nasi padang stall prices are an unspeakable topic of discussion," said the Stomper.
"However, we need to cancel such stalls lah. Help me share in hopes that other nasi padang stalls don't follow such rubbish prices.
"Where got hotdog $4.50, man? And ikan bilis $4.50? Cancel culture!"
