Courier leaves Stomper's Uniqlo delivery out in the rain: 'The box disintegrated'
She was looking forward to her delivery from Uniqlo.
However, Stomper Mrs Emay Lye was dismayed when she discovered a courier had left her box of clothes next to a pillar outside her home without ringing her doorbell or calling her.
Unfortunately, it was raining on Nov 26.
"As a result, the box disintegrated before I could even carry the parcel into my house!" said the 42-year-old. "The courier that thoughtlessly left the package at the pillar was Cycle &Carriage."

In photos shared by the Stomper, some of the clothes were also wet from the rain.
Mrs Lye told Stomp that she was planning on returning some of the items and was unsure if Uniqlo would even take them back in that state.
Thankfully, Uniqlo stepped in promptly to resolve the issue.
Mrs Lye noted that the company arranged for the damaged goods to be collected and promised to send her a fresh batch of items.
She wanted to highlight the need for couriers to exercise greater care during the rainy season.
"Couriers can afford to give the customer a call, especially when it's raining," Mrs Lye said.
"I can access my main gate remotely, so I could have opened it for the courier.
"My area's regular couriers are much more considerate than this one.
"I understand that it's not an easy task delivering many orders a day.
"I'm just thankful that this time it happened with a good customer service-oriented company like Uniqlo."
On Nov 30, Cycle & Carriage successfully completed the redelivery of Mrs Lye's items.

This time, she was pleased to report that the courier rang her doorbell and called her to ensure the delivery was completed smoothly.
"I'm not sure if it was the same delivery guy, but I appreciate the improved service this time," she said.
