Couple draws flak for making themselves too at home on MRT train
A couple was caught on camera getting a little too comfortable on an MRT train.
Stomper Lee alerted Stomp to a video circulating online showing the pair engaging in overly affectionate behaviour while seated next to each other in a train carriage.
The man can be seen with his arms around the woman, who tries to keep him upright.
"Netizens in a public train witnessed a middle-aged couple getting frisky," read the caption of the post.
The video has since garnered over 160,000 views.
Commenters were quick to chime in, with several speculating: "He is drunk la."
Another quipped: "They feel they are transparent."
Some netizens, however, weren't surprised.
One wrote: "First time meh? Lol 😂😂 It's like an everyday thing, especially on late-night MRTs. To say middle-aged is terrible, I've seen people of all ages do the same thing."
Another added: "This is still better -- I've seen even worse situations sometimes. I don't record videos because I don't think it's appropriate."
While public displays of affection aren't uncommon, many agreed that there's a time and place for everything.
