Cookies and chocolates recalled for containing milk that's not declared on packaging
Two food products have been recalled by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) for not declaring they contain milk on their packaging.
SFA said on March 1 that it detected undeclared milk in Happy Family Oatmeal Cookies (200g) and directed the importer, C M M Marketing Management to recall the implicated product.

Two days earlier, the agency said it detected undeclared milk in Supremely Gourmet Premium Dark Chocolate (96g) and directed the importer, Redmart, to recall the implicated product.

The recall for both products is ongoing.
Milk does not pose a food safety issue to consumers at large, except for those that are intolerant of or allergic to it.
Under Singapore's Food Regulations, food products containing ingredients that are known to cause hypersensitivity must be declared on food packaging labels to protect consumers with food allergies.
