Concrete mix accidentally discharged onto road damages taxi next to Shaw Tower worksite
Concrete mix splattered onto a ComfortDelGro taxi next to the Shaw Tower worksite on March 25.
Stomper Jun Long alerted Stomp to the incident at the junction of Beach Road and Middle Road. He said it happened in front of the Supreme Pork Chop Rice restaurant at around noon.
In response to a Stomp query, a spokesman for the worksite said: "The vehicle was splattered by concrete mix which was discharged onto the road by accident."
He also shared photos of the damaged vehicle.

"The rear windshield was fully removed by the driver while waiting for Comfort DelGro's insurance surveyor and towing services," added the spokesman.
"The tow truck came and towed the vehicle at around noon."
The Stomper shared photos of the taxi with the rear windshield removed.

When contacted by Stomp, a ComfortDelGro spokesperson said: "We are aware of the incident on March 25 involving a ComfortDelGro taxi, which resulted in damage to the rear windscreen.
"Fortunately, there were no passengers onboard, and the cabby was uninjured."
