Compassvale resident kept awake by 'young punks' making a din, emails Stomp at 1.54am
A man was left fuming over youths making a din past midnight at Block 296B Compassvale Crescent.
Stomper Ben shared a video showing a group of youths gathering at the carpark at close to 2am on April 12.
They can be seen sitting in a circle, with loud music playing.
Ben said in a 1.54am email to Stomp: "Young punks were making noises during wee hours again! They sat in the carpark at midnight and happily started chatting, laughing, and vaping.
“I called the police, but unfortunately they only reached after those kids had left.
“I did not confront them as there were too many of them.
“That particular loading bay seems to attract youngsters. But this particular group in the video is the only one that talks loudly and blasts music.”
According to Ben, one of the youths left their car in the spot for around 12 days.
On April 26, the owner came to retrieve the car, but realised it could not start.
Ben recounted: “They contacted a friend to help repair it, but the problem is they did it at midnight, which generated a lot of noise.
“Their actions seem to not have any basic consideration for other people around.”
