Commuter takes video of woman hitting and 'screaming' at elderly man in Bishan MRT station
A woman was caught on camera hitting and shouting at an elderly man in Bishan MRT station on March 12 at around noon.
Stomper Ke was on the way to lunch at the time.
"I heard lots of screaming and shouting by a woman towards an elderly man," recounted the Stomper.
"The middle-aged lady was bullying the elderly man. They seemed to be related to each other as I witnessed the woman barking orders at the man and even hitting and shoving him multiple times."
The Stomper shared a video that showed the woman scolding the man in Hokkien while both were seated on a bench on the train platform where other commuters turned to look at them. She can be seen slapping his lap until he eventually got up and walked away, bent over and nursing his leg where she hit him.
"They were still continuing to bicker and hurl vulgarities after my train arrived," said the Stomper.
"I really hope that the MRT station staff eventually intervened and restored peace for everyone's commute."
