Commuter praises employee at Woodlands Bus Interchange for going beyond the call of duty
A staff member was seen guiding commuters at Woodlands Bus Interchange on Oct 7.
Stomper Jarren said that the employee did this despite being off duty. It was around 8pm.
He told Stomp: "I would like to compliment Mr Chia for helping to direct traffic after one of the buses broke down at a berth.
"I feel that Mr Chia is very responsible to be still assisting even though he is off duty."
Photos taken by Jarren show the worker directing commuters onto SMRT bus service 964.
Separately, the Stomper also commended a bus captain for helping an elderly wheelchair-bound passenger off the bus.
