Commuter finds love letter to 'Xavier' at Little India MRT station -- with even more puzzling note on the back
A commuter found a love letter addressed to someone named Xavier at Little India MRT station on June 9.
Stomper Anonymous picked up the note, which was in a pink envelope, on the MRT station's concourse level at around 10.50am.
Anonymous said: "I hope this letter can be conveyed to the person."
The letter, dated May 16, said:
"Dear Xavier,
"It hasn't been long since I've known you but we really clicked from the start and I find that honestly very crazy. I've never clicked with anyone else this fast other than you and that's what draws me into you.
"Slowly after, I started to feel confused when I got upset because you hadn't texted me back yet and I didn't know why. I began to realise that it was because I like you. I slowly began to realise how much I like your eyes, your smile, your humour, kindness, sweetness, and your freakiness.
"When you told me you liked me, I honestly felt super happy and I didn't know what to say. I mean, how could a guy like you like me, right? But you do. You show me that you like me. You reassure me, compliment me, and you treasure me.
"I really don't know what I've done to deserve you but I'm so happy that I met and talked to you. You've become someone significant in my life already and I just want you to know that I cherish and appreciate you very much.
"Whenever you're upset or stressed, talk to me. I'll try to be there for you.
"I like you so much Xavier and I hope you know that now, tomorrow, and always. Thank you for always being there for me and listening to me. I couldn't ask for more. Luv you 😛".
The seemingly heartfelt letter has left this writer with many questions:
- Did it ever reach Xavier?
- Why was the note at the MRT station?
- Why 'luv' instead of 'love'?
- Did things work out between Xavier and the mystery writer?
But even more baffling is what's written on the other side of the paper:

Asked if he still had the letter, Anonymous told Stomp: "I threw it away."
Guess we are never getting answers 🫠.
