Cleaning bot? Nope, just your friendly RoboCop going on patrol in Zhengzhou railway station

Visitors to the Zhengzhou East Railway Station in Henan, China were treated to an amusing sight after the station unveiled its latest security personnel.

Well, not so much an officer, but a security bot.

The robot has been tasked to patrol the station, and features facial recognition technology to help assist the police in identifying criminals, reports Shanghaiist. 

Other than offering additional security, the bot can also inform passengers if there is a fire. 

So far, the robot has proven to be a hit with not just kids, but adults too.

Let's hope it stays on the side of humanity unlike those robots in the Terminator franchise.
