Someone threw a party popper from a Jurong West block on Oct 20 and nearly hit a passer-by downstairs.

Stomper JW was walking by Block 484 Jurong West Avenue 1 when it happened and took a video of the incident.

"Kids were throwing party poppers from the second storey," said the Stomper. "And bomb bags as well."

A bomb bag is a small packet containing baking soda and an even smaller pouch of vinegar that you squeeze to break the pouch, causing the packet to expand and make a loud popping noise when it bursts.

It is unclear from the video how many kids were behind the parapet on the second floor, but the voice of at least one child can be heard. The ground floor was littered with used party poppers and bomb bags.

"I mean it's fine to play," said the Stomper. "But they should know how to do housekeeping after they play."

The Stomper was also concerned about the bomb bags thrown from the second story.

"It's like I don't know their intentions. It's just dangerous," added the Stomper.

Oct 20 was a public holiday as it was Deepavali.
