Chaos ensues after buffet restaurant gives coupons for festive week in China

Staff at a buffet restaurant in Anhui, China, learnt the meaning of instant regret after seeing the aftermath of handing out coupons for the festive week.

To celebrate Golden Week, China's National Day holiday week, the restaurant distributed five days worth of coupons to local residents.

This resulted in absolute chaos as a human stampede showed up at the restaurant to grab some free food.

Security guards had to try every trick in the book to handle the immense crowd, reports Shanghaiist.

However, since many photos showed plates with leftover food, netizens commented that the dishes must have been below average.
