Car becomes 'chao ta' after catching fire at MacPherson Rd
Stomper Fitzy, Jeffery, Steve and John came across a black car on fire at Jalan Muhibbah along MacPherson Road yesterday (Mar 18) at around 6.30pm.
They took videos of the incident and sent it to Stomp.
In a video, a raging fire can be seen, while SCDF officers fought to keep it under control.
In videos taken after the first, police and SCDF officers could be seen around a burnt vehicle, although the fire has been extinguished.
The black car's bonnet was also charred.
The SCDF has issued an official statement on the incident:
"SCDF was alerted to a case of fire at approximately 6.35pm.
"SCDF immediately dispatched two fire engines and one fire bike to 540, MacPherson Road.
"The fire was extinguished by the SCDF using a water jet.
"No injuries were reported."
