Car flips over in accident along Havelock Road after Friday afternoon shower
A white car flipped onto its side after an accident at Havelock Road on Friday afternoon (June 15).
Stomper Marvin was driving by the area and came across the accident site at about 2.50pm.
He took some photos which he later sent to Stomp.
Said Marvin:
"It had just stopped raining then.
“Not sure how the car flipped over, but I feel people should be careful especially when it’s raining.
“I didn’t see anyone near the vehicle so I’m not sure if there were any injuries.”
Stomper Ah Boy also alerted Stomp to photos of the accident which were circulating on WhatsApp.
In response to a Stomp query, a police spokesman said:
“On June 15, at about 2.48pm, the police were alerted to an accident involving a car along Havelock Road towards South Bridge Road.
“No injuries were reported. Police investigations are ongoing.”
