Car flips over in four-vehicle accident at Bukit Timah Road, driver taken to NUH
A car flipped over in a multi-vehicle accident at Bukit Timah Road on the morning of March 12.
In response to Stomp queries, the police and Singapore Civil Defence Force said they were alerted to the accident at 7.55am.
The accident, involving a minibus and three cars, took place along Bukit Timah Road towards Upper Bukit Timah Road at the Anamalai Avenue junction.
A 52-year-old male car driver was conscious when taken to National University Hospital.
Stomper Nick shared dashcam footage of the white car flung into the air after a collision with a black car at 7.52am.
"It just happened in front of me," said Nick. "The car overturned and multiple vehicles were involved. Multiple lanes were affected and traffic built up fast."
The Land Transport Authority posted on X at 9.13am about congestion up to Farrer Road and advised motorists to avoid lanes 4 and 5.
Police investigations are ongoing.
