Car bursts into flames along Clementi Road

A car burst into flames along Clementi Road today (Jun 2) at around 1pm.
Stomper Ah Boy shared photos of the scene with Stomp and said that he believes the fire happened after the car crashed into the back of a tipper truck.
In response to Stomp's media query, a Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) spokesperson said:
"We were alerted at 1.07pm and dispatched one fire bike and two fire engines.
"The fire involved the engine compartment of a car and was extinguished by the SCDF using 2 water jets.
"No one was injured."
