Stomper Lau Lup was amused when he managed to spot 'beautiful scenery' in a ring which he had purchased from Holland Village last Saturday morning (Jul 8).
According to Lau Lup, he bought the agate ring for S$10 at a vendor selling accessories such as stones and handbags.
The amber-coloured stone seemed to depict a blazing sun which painted the sea, shores, and hills a deep orange hue, while a 'lighthouse' could be seen in the foreground.
Said Lau Lup:
"This agate stone, though small, is able to depict a beautiful surreal landscape that has so many elements and a wide depth of field.
"A beautiful piece of art created by man and Mother Nature indeed!"
