Cabby conversing with passenger in fluent Hindi is as S'porean as it gets

An amusing video showing a friendly a cabby, Mr Tan, conversing with his passenger in fluent Hindi has been circulating on Facebook.

The friendly taxi driver's mastery of the language amazed the passenger, who attempted to return the favour by thanking him in Mandarin.

Throughout the trip, the two continued chatting in Hindi, and Mr Tan revealed that he had been speaking Hindi for many years.

Possibly a decade, he told the passenger in Hindi.

It is unclear when the video was taken.
