Busker performing nostalgic songs at Bras Basah Complex inspires Stomper to sing along
A busker's voice brought back fond memories for one man.
Stomper Lau Lup visited Bras Basah Complex at 1.40pm on June 21, where he took a video of a busker.
"The busker's voice sounds like Ashin, the lead singer of Mayday," he said.
The busker, who played the guitar as he sang, drew a small crowd, many of whom were older listeners, likely familiar with the retro tunes he performed.
Lau Lup, who is 41, said: "It reminds me of younger times when life was so carefree and there were not too many responsibilities.
"I love singing and listening to music too, and I am considering signing up for singing lessons.
"I am inspired by his performance and I'm interested in becoming a busker too, but unfortunately, I have not learned to play any musical instruments."
