The shop owner at Bugis Street is sounding the alarm about a 'habitual thief' who has allegedly stolen from her store twice this year.

Stomper Mo told Stomp that the most recent incident happened on Aug 10, when the man took a hair product without paying.

In a video shared by the Stomp of the latest incident, the young man is seen taking a bottle from a shelf and moving himself next to the display cabinet before putting the product in his right pocket.

He then goes back to perusing the store's items.

"This young man has stolen from my shop at Bugis Street more than once," she said. "The last time was in April this year, when he took two hair products.

"What's worse is that he came again on Aug 10 to steal.

"If this incident is not reported and the person is not identified, he will keep repeating this and more businesses will suffer."

Mo has since reported the incident to the police.
