A boy was caught on camera allegedly stealing the tyres from a bicycle left in a Yishun void deck on Sept 3.

Stomper H shared a video of the alleged theft at Block 864 Yishun Avenue 4.

The video shows three boys cycling into the void deck and getting off their bicycles. One of them can then be seen squatting beside the rear wheel of a bike parked against the pillar before the video ends.

The Stomper had discovered the footage on his dash cam after he saw the bike owner searching for the missing tyres.

"At around 5pm, when I looked outside my window, two primary school boys were shocked to see that the bicycle one of them parked in the void deck had both of its tyres stolen," recounted the Stomper.

"I decided to retrieve the videos from my car and managed to find the culprits!

"The theft occurred at about 4.15pm. I'm sure the boy's parents were devastated to find out that their son had to go through this."

The Stomper does not know how to contact the bike owner. So he made a police report and contacted Stomp.

In response to a Stomp query, the police confirmed that a report was lodged and they are looking into the matter.
