BMW driver pushes through crowd of pedestrians crossing road in Orchard
A driver was caught on camera forcefully pushing through a crowd at a pedestrian crossing along Orchard Boulevard.
The incident reportedly occurred on April 27, at 3.32pm.
Stomper Lau Lau shared a Facebook video of the incident, where the BMW 730Li driver ran a red light while numerous pedestrians were crossing the road.
Some stopped for the car to pass.
The BMW then turned into a junction.
One netizen suggested that the driver should be reported to the police.
Failing to conform to traffic light signals carries a penalty of 12 demerit points and a fine of $400 for light vehicles, and $500 for heavy vehicles.
