After three months of dealing with a difficult neighbour at Lorong Limau, a mother of three says she feels defeated.

Stomper Zilah, lives in a three-room HDB flat with her children, including one with autism and another with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and oppositional defiant disorder (ODD).

She claims her next-door neighbour, a man in his late 40s with no kids, frequently complains about noise from her unit.

"He said we are too noisy, and I said they're just kids, and they are not 'normal' kids," the mother explained.

"Every time my autistic son cries loudly, he will make loud banging noises until our fourth-floor neighbours, who also have small kids, are stressed.

"He only stops when my son stops crying."

Zilah added that the man scolded her four-year-old autistic son and told him to be quiet.

She became so overwhelmed that she put up soundproof cushions to try to reduce the noise.

"He will quietly take photos here and there to complain about anything he sees," the Stomper said.

"He purposely walks in front of our unit even though his unit is the nearest to the staircase."

A photo shared by Zilah shows the man taking pictures of the corridor on April 26 at 10am.

Zilah said she filed a police report after her neighbour scolded her son, but was told that no action would be taken unless someone was injured.

"He drives a Tesla," she said. "Is this how he reacts to kids?"

"This is a neighbour from hell."
