It was a show about a woman of a certain age and was apparently disrupted by women of a certain age.

An audience member at the musical Sunset Boulevard was filled with rage by the alleged rude behaviour of two rows of women in front of him.

Stomper NA said it happened during the final performance of Sunset Boulevard at Sands Theatre in Marina Bay Sands on Feb 23.

"I just had absolute rage at these disgustingly entitled rude women throughout the show," recounted the Stomper.

"They took up about 25 seats in two rows in front of me. They all arrived in dribs and drabs up to an hour late, were on their phones, talked throughout, changed seats standing up and when the usher tried to say something at the intermission, they literally flapped him away and laughed in his face.

"It was absolutely disgraceful behaviour and everyone around them was so annoyed and uncomfortable."

The Stomper said that when the show ended, the women got up and started leaving as the performers took their bows during the curtain call, blocking the view of the people behind them.

"As I left, I thanked the usher for trying and saw four of them." said the Stomper.

"So I told them how rude and disrespectful they had been and how they had ruined the experience of so many around them. They just looked at me like I was speaking alien.

"Honestly fuming. How can people behave like that?"

Feb 23 was the final Singapore performance of Sunset Boulevard, which had music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and starred his ex-wife Sarah Brightman.
