Another 'graveyard' garden in Jurong West?
First Yew Tee, now Jurong West?
Stomper Ng believed he has found another "graveyard" garden between Block 732 and Block 733 Jurong West Street 72.
"Residents had planted some papaya trees there, but they were cleared," said the Stomper.

In response to a Stomp query, a West Coast Town Council spokesperson said: "We understand the resident's concern and would like to clarify that the planter boxes in question were designed for the Resident Network garden as part of the Neighbourhood Renewal Programme.
"Due to space constraints and guidelines, only two plots are allocated for this purpose.
"We have been monitoring the area and removing unauthorised plantings to maintain the space. Meanwhile, we're exploring options with our horticulture team to enhance the area."
"As always, our town council remains committed to ensuring our estate remains a clean, safe, and beautiful place for all residents to live in. We will continue to work towards achieving this goal."
In December 2024, a similar but larger newly built community garden in Yew Tee made headlines for resembling a cemetery.

Since then, the once empty planter boxes that looked like grave plots or coffins have been populated with shrubs.

Is it less creepy now?
