An Aljunied resident has been losing sleep every night because of a neighbour.

Stomper Pang, who lives at Block 95 Aljunied Crescent, said the person living in the flat one floor below his would start knocking after 10pm and continue until morning.

He posted video on TikTok where you can hear the knocking coming from the floor.

"The knocking started in 2008," said the Stomper. "There is no one disturbing him. He would just 'bom bom bom, bom bom bom'.

"We have gone to the RC (residents' committee) to talk about this thing. However, after the RC meeting, the problem is still occurring. When we meet him at the lift, he would speak in vulgarities."

The noise has greatly disrupted the lives of the Stomper and his family.

"First of all, we cannot rest and sleep peacefully at night. It affects my parents," said the Stomper.

"And the second thing is that we spent almost $10,000 to engage a lawyer to help us to address this issue. But unfortunately, this thing is not resolved until today."

He told Stomp: "We are harassed daily by the intentional knocking by the downstairs neighbour whereby it affects everyone's sleep and the peace in the community.

"He had been served with a state court order, yet he still continues harassing others day and night."
