A resident was concerned to spot six potted plants on a narrow window ledge at Block 366 Tampines Street 34.

According to Stomper Francis, the plants have been there for more than a month.

"The flower pots were precariously placed," said the Stomper, who shared a photo of the plants in question on June 17.

"If strong wind blows, that's that."

In a previous case, the town council took action to have the hazards removed upon receiving the feedback.

According to the Housing Board, such potted plants are potential killer litter and should be kept away from ledges

Residents who fail to remove objects placed in a hazardous manner after a warning is issued may be fined up to $2,000.

If the object is not removed after the conviction, they will be liable to a further fine of $100 per day for as long as the offence continues.
