Three men, aged between 30 and 45, will be charged in court on Aug 1 under the Women's Charter for allegedly facilitating the operation of the online vice syndicate. Investigations against the other suspects are ongoing.

Under the Women's Charter, penalties for such offences can include up to seven years' jail and a fine of up to $100,000. Offences include living off the earnings of another person's prostitution, aiding prostitution, managing a brothel or a place of assignation, and using remote communication services to facilitate vice activities in Singapore.

The police said they will continue to take tough enforcement action against those involved in syndicated vice activities to protect public safety, peace and good order.
