A 26-year-old man was arrested for drink driving after crashing his car into a shophouse in Chinatown on March 7.

A Stomper alerted Stomp to photos of the incident that were posted on SG Road Vigilante's Facebook page.

They show a white SUV that appears to have also hit a tree and a pole.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident along Kreta Ayer Road towards New Bridge Road at about 2am.

"A 26-year-old male car driver was arrested for drink driving," a police spokesperson said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
