A man was seen lying flat on his belly on the floor of a train, sparking mixed reactions online.

Stomper Anon alerted Stomp to a Facebook video of the incident posted by Monir 2.1 on July 10.

In the video, which was taken on the East-West line, a man can be seen lying on the ground in front of a row of empty seats.

The video was also posted on TikTok by @sgtrendingfeed.

"He's too tired from work, just let him rest." a user commented.

Another wrote: "I hope he wasn't overworked."

Others questioned how MRT staff members did not notice him: "Why weren't there any MRT staff members around to notice he's lying on the floor?"

A few joked that the incident shows how clean Singapore's trains are.

"This is proof that our trains are so clean that you can sleep on the floor," one commented.
