Police are searching for the driver who allegedly left the scene after crashing a BlueSG car into the pillar of a Housing Board block on the evening of May 21.

Police said they were alerted to the accident at Block 788C Woodlands Crescent at about 5pm that day.

The car is believed to have skidded along the service road, according to the police. "The car driver left the scene and efforts to trace the driver are underway," they said.

In pictures of the accident uploaded to the SGRV Front Man Facebook group, the BlueSG car can be seen stationary on a pavement under the HDB flat. The car's bonnet and bumper appear to be badly damaged.

No injuries were reported, and the Singapore Civil Defence Force said their assistance was not required.

Police investigations are ongoing.
