Penknife seized as man arrested in Toa Payoh for hurting another with weapon

A 49-year-old man was arrested on Aug 9 for voluntarily causing hurt with a dangerous weapon in Toa Payoh, said the police.
Both the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and the police said on Aug 10 that they received calls for assistance at Block 168 Toa Payoh Lorong 1 at around 8.30pm on Aug 9.
A 59-year-old man was taken conscious to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, said the SCDF.
A penknife was seized as evidence, said the police, who added that investigations are ongoing.
In a TikTok clip posted on Aug 9, at least three police cars can be seen at Block 168 Toa Payoh Lorong 1, with an ambulance also at the scene.
