Orange & Teal, a cafe owned by Singapore Democratic Party (SDP) chief Chee Soon Juan and his wife, has announced its closure after more than four years of operations at Rochester Mall.

The move comes just over a year after the cafe's second outlet in Marina Square shuttered in October 2024, citing rising costs.

In a Facebook post on Nov 10, the cafe said it had decided to "conclude (their) journey".

'This is not goodbye'

Expressing "gratitude and optimism", the post added: "This is not goodbye, only until next time."

"Epilogue is prologue. We look forward to picking up where we left on another day."

The post did not elaborate on why the cafe is closing.

Orange & Teal will also be holding a "cash & carry" sale, allowing customers can purchase items from their store from Nov 11 to 13, between 11am and 7pm.

Stomp has reached out to Orange & Teal for comment.
