# Married woman ends affair before finalising divorce, angered lover retaliates by sending intimate photos to ex-husband

*A man who had an affair with a married woman he met online took revenge on her when she ended their relationship before finalising her divorce, posting her intimate photos online and sending them to her former husband.*

A man who had an affair with a married woman he met online took revenge on her when she ended their relationship before finalising her divorce, posting her intimate photos online and sending them to her former husband.

The 31-year-old Singaporean faced eight charges, including distributing intimate images and videos of another person and offences under the Protection from Harassment Act. He pleaded guilty to three charges and was sentenced to 13 months’ jail.

The victim was married at the time of the offences. A gag order has been put in place to protect her identity.

Court documents showed that the victim met the offender in 2021 through an online game and a mutual friend.

At the time, the victim was facing difficulties in her marriage. She confided in the offender about her marital problems, and the pair grew closer and eventually began an affair, during which they were “sexually intimate” with each other.

## Offender circulates intimate photos and video

During their affair, the victim agreed to let the offender take seven intimate photos of her and record an intimate video.

In addition, the offender took two other recordings of the victim engaging in oral and penetrative sex.

However, in August 2025, she asked him to delete all the intimate photos and videos of her stored on his phone.

Although the offender deleted the files in her presence, he later retrieved them from his phone’s deleted files folder.

On Oct 3, 2025, before her divorce was finalised, the victim decided to end the relationship with the offender, which caused him to be upset.

In retaliation, he revealed the affair in an Instagram Story post on Oct 13, 2025. He also claimed that he had paid for all their vacations and trips.

Four days later, he sent her text messages threatening that he would share the intimate photos and videos with her former husband. He subsequently did so that same month.

In the same month, the offender also uploaded seven intimate photos of the victim to an online forum, where he disclosed her name and Instagram handle.
