Goodest boy is a proud Singa-paw-rean
The video posted on Reddit, simply titled "Sedia" (ready in Malay), starts with a solitary Singapore flag hanging beneath a window at an HDB block.
The video then zooms in on the unit and we see a golden retriever staring out the window, as if it is standing proudly over the flag.
Commentors were tickled. "Looks like he just hung the flag," said belt1014.
"And he seems proud of it!" added spacenglish.
"Singapawren," remarked Tingha.
Others were quick to point out that the breed is not HDB-approved, although guide dogs are allowed.
"LOL... And it must be a HDB and a Golden Retriever…trying to sabo the house is it? That dog is not permitted in HDB lol!" said Acrobatic-Let-353
"Visiting only," said Cheesetofuhotdog.
"Day care, la," said KambingOnFire.
But several Redditors were not amused, noting that its proximity to the window put the pet in peril.
"Very dangerous, my husband's aunt had a husky jump out the window before (not in Singapore). Dogs don't understand the height of buildings," said KoishiChan92.
"So cute, but the owner is irresponsible," said MikeruJackson.
