TikTok user Faisal Marican is used to dishing out reviews on the social media platform, but he is now on the receiving end of netizens' praise after his recent interaction with two migrant workers.
In a video posted to his TikTok account (@01fhm) on Oct 28, the 36-year-old Singaporean is seen surprising two workers painting the exterior of his HDB flat in Bedok Reservoir with packets of nasi lemak.
The video has garnered over 390,000 views and 33,000 likes, with Mr Faisal earning widespread praise for his act of kindness.
"Bro your heart is good; other man very hard work, you understand," said one TikTok user @clrajariyalur in the comment thread.
Another TikTok user @fadly.buddy said: "Bro just had a good heart & a good plan."
Mr Faisal, who told online platform MustShareNews that he wanted to boost the workers' spirits while they were hard at work, was also seen handing a milo packet to one of them in a video posted on Oct 24.
This is not the first time Mr Faisal has displayed kindness to strangers.
In October, he delivered meals to nursing home residents on four occasions, bringing them noodles, nasi lemak, burgers, fries and kopi.
The Straits Times has contacted Mr Faisal for more information.
