Driver helping police with investigations after hit-and-run accident on CTE
A 52-year-old driver is helping the police with investigations over his involvement in a hit-and-run accident on the CTE, said the police on April 27.
The police said they were alerted to an accident involving a car and a motorcycle along the CTE at around 8.15pm on April 25.
The motorcyclist, 27, was taken to the hospital while conscious.
In dashcam footage circulated online, a black sport utility vehicle can be seen driving alongside a motorcycle on a four-lane road. The SUV can be seen veering into a lane on its left, leading to a collision with the motorcycle.
The black car can be seen braking to a halt briefly, before driving off, leaving the motorcyclist in his helmet sitting on the ground while his riderless bike crashes into the road barrier on the extreme right lane.
Police investigations are ongoing.
