A 40-year-old male cyclist was taken to hospital after a hit-and-run accident in Jalan Besar on the evening of May 27.

In response to queries, the police said they were alerted to the accident that involved a bicycle, car and bus along Jalan Besar towards Bencoolen Street at 6.25pm.

The cyclist was conscious when he was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, the police and Singapore Civil Defence Force said.

In video footage uploaded on Singapore Roads Accident.Com Facebook page, a silver car can be seen after the collision with an SMRT bus, its bonnet crushed.
