Two parked vehicles at an HDB multi-storey carpark (MCSP) sustained serious damage after it was hit by another car being driven down a slope — and it was all captured by a BMW's dashcam.

A 30-second reel was uploaded on Nov 18 by user @royroy_81 with the caption: "The aftermath of my car being crashed at carpark. Stationary parked at MCSP also kena accident."

The incident occurred at 4.03pm on Nov 16 at the MSCP at 102 Punggol Field.

The video, which was uploaded on Nov 18, had garnered 45,700 views and 73 comments at press time.

It shows a sedan speeding down a slope before slamming into the BMW and a Nissan Sylphy parked on its left.

We then see the extent of the damage: the front of the car that descended the slope is completely dislodged from the rest of its body, while the back of the Nissan is smashed.

The sides of the BMW, as well as its rims, also sustains significant damage.

Netizens were curious as to how the driver had lost control. "The slope too slippery," said one.

"Brake faulty or wat?" asked another, while a third claimed: "Confirm accidentally press accelerate....though its brake."

Several pointed out the perils of parking in a lot facing a ramp, although one netizen felt that it was just bad luck: "If suay, park anywhere also will kena hit one lo."

Some wondered if the driver had a licence, but there were those who saw the funny side of the incident.

"So many experts on where not to park suddenly," said one.

Another said in jest: "Tokyo Drift - Singapore MSCP edition."
