A 57-year-old Malaysian motorcyclist died after falling from his bike while riding towards Singapore along the Causeway on March 20.
Photos and videos uploaded to Facebook showed the man lying on the road in the rain, with a queue of motorcyclists backed up behind the incident.
Several motorcyclists had dismounted and were standing near the man, checking on him.
Police later arrived at the scene, directing traffic away from the man’s motorcycle.
The Johor Bahru Police released a statement on their Facebook page, saying an accident involving a motorcycle had occurred around 11:43 a.m. on March 20.
It's believed the motorcyclist lost control of his vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene from head injuries.
An investigation is underway, and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information.
