Two men, aged 30 and 31, were arrested after an alleged slashing incident in Woodlands on March 10.

In response to The Straits Times' queries, the police said that they received a call for assistance at Block 778 Woodlands Drive 60 around 10.55pm that night.

Two men were arrested for voluntarily causing grievous hurt with a dangerous weapon.

A 20-year-old man was taken to the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital while conscious.

In dashcam video footage shared with citizen journalism website Stomp, three men can be seen appearing to chase after another man. The men in pursuit can be seen with items in their hands.

Shouting can also be heard in the video.

The Stomp contributor, who was not named, said she and her family went down after hearing a commotion and found the injured man bleeding and with a deep cut on his thigh.

Police investigations are ongoing.
