Stomper Matthew alerted Stomp to photos circulating on WhatsApp of what is believed to be the head of a 'pontianak'.

In the photo, the head of the 'pontianak' has been chopped, nailed and stored in a jar.

The 'pontianak' is a blood-sucking ghost in Malaysian and Indonesian mythology.

They are said to be the spirits of women who died while pregnant.

The story goes that they desire revenge against men who have done them wrong and will kill them by ripping their organs from their bodies with their hands.

It is unclear whether the jar is being sold for black magic purposes or simply being kept by someone.

It is hard to say if this is the real deal but it definitely is creepy.

What do you think?
